Solar charger

The Skunk solar charger has 3 separate charge inputs  

1. Solar
2. Auxiliary (Wind turbine, Generator 12v etc)
3. 16vac Transformer

Solar panels connected to the solar input will work during the day when the sun is out. Once the sun sets and no power is supplied to the solar input the unit will automatically switch to the next power input supply, for example a wind turbine connected to the auxiliary input will automatically be selected by the Skunk solar charger.

If during the day the sun is out and the wind is blowing the unit will select the highest charge input ensuring that the Skunk solar charger is always charging at the peak charge input.

16vac Transformer input is purely an emergency input connected to the 16vac input of the Skunk solar input. This input will only work if the sun has not been out for a few days and the wind has died altogether.

The 16vac will then automatically start charging to maintain the battery and ensure that the security systems remain working!
